About
Experienced. Integrity. A Coach.
For more than 30 years, I have been a Division 1 college baseball coach. For 24 years, I have been a head coach. I am currently the head baseball coach at the University of Richmond.
My coaching stops have included Manchester Community College, Ohio University, Dartmouth College, Columbia University, Boston College, University of Notre Dame, Morehead State University, and Richmond.
Working with admissions offices at elite academic institutions in my role as a coach gives me a one-of-a-kind insight into the world of athletic recruiting at upper-echelon academic insitutions. I’ve also worked at large and small public institutions. As a college baseball recruiter, I have been evaluating players for more than 30 years. I am uniquely quaified to help you find your right fit academically and athletically.
On a personal note, I am a husband and father of three children. The oldest, Kai, is playing baseball at Colby College. Our two girls, Bryn and Reese, are in the 11th and 8th grades respectively. Bryn is a volleyball and lacrosse player. Reese is a gymnast and volleyball player. My wife, Sue, is a Hall of Fame lacrosse and field hockey player at the University of Delaware and a former college field hockey and lacrosse coach.
The purpose for starting this endeavor is to help players and their families in the college recruiting and selction process. I get asked hundreds of times each year about how the recruiting process works. There are lots of players and families who are looking for answers: how do I reach out to coaches, what are schools and coaches looking for, how do I get the exposure I need, what level of baseball am I capable of playing…. I believe I can help players and families navigate through the college recruiting process in an intelligent, honest, and genuine manner at a reasonable price.
There are a never-ending list of questions that players and families have. I am a coach/teacher. I love coaching and teaching. I love informing, and I love helping folks.
